NovAtel SPAN OEM-IMU-EG320N

The EG320N is a high-performance microelectromechanical system (MEMS)-based inertial module from Epson that supports NovAtel Inc.'s SPAN technology. (Calgary, Canada) - the technology of integrating inertial and satellite systems according to a closely related scheme. The EG320N contains low-noise gyroscopes and accelerometers in a small, lightweight package.

Features:

  • Commercial class gyroscopes and accelerometers with low noise level;
  • Small dimensions and weight: 24 x 24 x 10 mm, 10 grams;
  • Data output rate up to 125 Hz (125 times per second);
  • High system reliability.

The EG320N inertial module is compatible with NovAtel Inc. OEM7 series GNSS receivers. through the SPI interface. The EG320N provides high measurement accuracy for applications requiring low cost, high performance and reliability in a very small form factor. It is a key component of inertial navigation systems of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), autonomous underwater vehicles, autonomous robotic carts, remote-controlled ground robots, remote-controlled vehicles, as well as various portable devices that require a small-sized inertial device to maintain operation during the period of signal loss satellite navigation systems GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou.
